Recognition List 2025

Now in its second year, the Women in Sustainable Luxury Recognition List celebrates the remarkable leaders, innovators, academics, and changemakers shaping the future of sustainable luxury. In a year where sustainability has had to rapidly adapt to mounting global and industry pressures, these individuals have continued to push boundaries, inspire innovation, and drive meaningful progress. They’ve done so often in less-than-perfect conditions. We honour their resilience, vision, and commitment to creating better outcomes for people, planet, and the luxury sector.

Criteria:

The list is as a curation not a ranking and the limitations in geography and sector diversity are acknowledged.

Please note heritage and volume premium brands are also included.

Inclusion was on the basis of:

  • working in a role in sustainability as an employee or freelancer or other supporting roles regardless of seniority

  • founding a company with strong sustainable values

  • founding a company innovating in sustainability for luxury brands.
